Completed in early autumn 2011 by the commission of Bridgestone Symphonic Band Kurume. "Mystic" is for mystery. The brilliant sound of brass instruments, accompanied by percussion, invites you to a mysterious world in various ways.

There is a secret story that the title came from the "Mystic Rhythm" show in Tokyo Disney Sea sponsored by Bridgestone. That is a ride of the jungle or natural mystery and this piece is about "space" or "galaxy". In rhythmic movements, including irregular time, make clear accents and rhythms. For gentle scenes, it would be great to play like a magnificent chorale from heaven.

(The continuous high notes and rapid tonguing in the horn are because my horn player friend said, "Horn can do anything". Similarly, the high notes of trumpet and trombone, and the busy passages of tuba, all are due to the advice of my friend).
