Premiered on June 19, 2007 by Senzoku Gakuen College of Music Freshmen Wind Ensemble, conducted by Yasuhide Ito.

As I was considering the flow of a concert a week prior to the event, I felt something was missing from the encore selections and decided to compose this march. As I recall, at that time, we had seven oboes, eleven euphoniums and numerous percussionists. That is why I divided oboe and euphonium into three parts. The title "Sola una volta! Only Once!" comes from assuming that the song would be performed only one time. However, it became one of our favorite encore selections. With optional parts (including oboe and euphonium) it can serve both small and large bands depending on their particular needs.
