Casella was part of the generation which included Respighi that started a new art movement in Italy during the early 20th century. He played a significant role in the restoration of Vivaldi's work. Until then, Italian music focused on opera, but he pursued various works from romantic music to atonal works. His style is characterized by a lot of unique expressions with refracted sound, dry humor, and a shadowy passion.

"Pupazzetti" was accompaniment music for a puppet show and was a piano duet (2 pianos, 4 hands), and a small orchestra arrangement by the composer is available. This orchestration was a great reference for this arrangement. It would be interesting if you express humorous sounds with endings both delicate and gorgeous.
