This was commissioned for the Ensemble Liberte Wind Orchestra's performance at an ensemble competition in 2020.

I composed this piece with the aim of providing a fresh perspective, fully utilizing the unique sounds and agility of the woodwinds. Right from the beginning, there's a vibrant rhythm and scale that stand out in each section, leading to the melodic theme titled "An Exciting Drive Through a Beautiful Landscape."

The middle section introduces solos and duets. In this part, it's essential for each soloist to maintain a consistent volume and infuse their performance with plenty of emotion.

The second half of the piece becomes more technically demanding. In this section, the soloists should not rush but should play with vivid expression, ensuring that even the intricate passages are synchronized, creating an overall grand and swirling atmosphere.

Imagine yourself driving under the open blue sky, basking in the sun, feeling the wind, surrounded by lush greenery, and gazing out at the sea, and so on.
