Program Notes
White Twilight was written so that each part can be played without difficulty and adapted to all types of configurations. Basically, it is written in classical technique with jazz harmony used for atmosphere. I intended a piece with a sense of speed, so the music has an uninterrupted feel from beginning to end.

Instrumentation
For effective performance we suggest a brass sextet (Trp. Trp. Hn. Trb. Euph. Tub.) as the core instrumentation. You can add percussion or switch the instruments in each part to further personalize the piece. Of course, the above can be done as is, or you can freely combine instruments according to your needs, such as using woodwinds in the lead.

Performance Notes
Rhythm precision is very important. Try to maintain steady tempo and be aware of the horizontal flow of the music. Keep staccatos and accents in place, and while feeling the vertical resonance of each part, play to create a sense of speed without making the whole piece too heavy. Aim for a sound of beauty and clarity while creating a wide range of dynamics. If you include percussion, pay attention to volume balance.
