2 Chats" was composed at the request of an amateur musician. However, a year and a half passed without the opportunity for the requester to perform it, It was then premiered by Mr. Daisuke Shiramizu, a trumpeter with the Kansai Philharmonic Orchestra at the time and a friend of mine, along with Mr. Katsuji Hamaguchi, another trumpeter.

The titles of the pieces were inspired by the names and personalities of the requester and the musician envisioned for the duo.
