The work is in ABA form, slow-fast-slow, where the core motion of the opening motif serves as the foundation for the entire composition. This motif appears repeatedly in its original form, in expansion, and in rhythmic compression, surfacing subconsciously throughout the music. Tonal and atonal harmonies are employed seamlessly wherever necessary, without distinction.
Although the overall flow features smooth melodic lines, the music avoids becoming overtly mellow. Rather, it reflects dualities much like life itself-idealism and reality, joy and sorrow, serenity and madness-expressed musically as contrasting forces.
Yet the path forward is only revealed by continuing to move ahead. Like striving toward light through hardship, the music seeks a sense of hope. Rather than explaining everything in words, perhaps the most important element lies in how each listener perceives it individually.
In performance, it is important to clearly delineate the three major sections. While the first part is gentle, the tempo should not be overly slowed; adhering faithfully to the indicated tempo will help maintain the overall tightness of the music. In the middle, faster section, aim for clear and precise performance-this will allow the musical interactions and intricacies to stand out. The final section revisits material from the beginning, building toward a climactic ending. Please express heightened energy here with emotional intensity.
Let the melodies sing, and during fortissimo passages, take care not to let the sound become harsh-maintain strong volume and energy while ensuring the narrative of the music reaches its conclusion with clarity.
